Grace holds a degree in Music Theatre from Elon University, and has studied with top flight teachers since then. She began her professional career on the stage in regional theatre, and moved to Chicago to pursue the indie film world and a more hardcore industry. Grace has danced with the Lyric Opera of Chicago in Salome with Deborah Voight, sung with the famous Stanley Paul Orchestra, made short films with Chicago artists, and has lent her voice to commercials and radio ads nationwide. She has worked with agencies including Leo Burnett, Draft FCB, DDB, Mortin, McGerry Bower, Euro SCG, and Giant Eagle. She has served on the membership committee of SAG Chicago, and on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Production Alliance (which lobbies for tax incentives in the film industry), where she's spearheading an initiative to bring the production of major motion pictures to Chicago. She also founded the Chicago Acting in Film Meetup, a professional support group of over 150 screen actors. |
